Russ Klettke is a business writer, an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified fitness trainer and also the author of “A Guy’s Gotta Eat, the regular guy’s guide to eating smart” (Marlowe & Co., 2004, with Deanna Conte, MS RD LD), available at Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com and more than 70 public library systems in the U.S., Canada and Europe. He served in 2005-2008 as a research assistant at Northwestern University, studying the effects of exercise on leg function in individuals who have restricted circulation, and teaches ride classes and works during evenings and on weekends with individual fitness clients at the West Loop Gym in Chicago (www.WestLoopGym.net). In addition, Klettke is a business writer. Prior to becoming a published writer and fitness trainer, he worked in marketing and public relations for several large food companies. He began competing (term loosely defined) in triathlons in 1987 and continues to participate in the sport (still completing international distance races in under three hours).
