Pam Pounds on HubPages
The most important thing about me is that I am first and foremost a mom of two beautiful girls in their twenties, and as of June 19, 2008, a grandma (I still can't believe it!) to a sweet baby boy.
My profession is a marketing and communications manager, which allows me to do a lot of corporate writing and creative work.
My favorite things to do are to be with my family, to cook for anyone who comes by, read (especially James Patterson), play "fetch" with my dog, do home improvement projects, and, of course, write my articles on HubPages.
Right now, I think my best hubs are about a trip to Vegas, my run-in with a possum, and people watching in the airport.
While I love to travel, and Vegas won a "hub", my true vacation heart belongs to Catalina Island.
I believe in God, my country, work-life balance, the generations of the future, and doing the right thing - as opposed to simply doing things right. I am no expert in any one thing, but I have had a few life experiences that eventually I hope to share through writing.
