Lady Guinevere on HubPages
Wife and Mother of two grown, young ladies and am about to become a first time Grandma! Due date is around December 6, 2008. I am excited!!
In the last 5 years I have become much more active with Animal Welfare and the Spay/Neuter Programs. I am a busy Homemaker and avid gardener, Universal Life Church Minister and have an affinity to King Arthur's Camelot and all that it was!
Sewing is my passion and I used to have my own business by the name of "Seams Like Camelot." When we moved to this rural area I didn't have the space and people don't want to come to the boonies, so I never opened it up for business. I loved it though! It was a great experience and the people were great. I have a hub started for those who wish to learn to sew and you can view that HERE.
Gardening is also a hobby of mine but I can't understand where to draw the line between hobby and chore! It seems like I am out doing something in the gardens that I have every single day. I love it though. You can see all my gardening HERE.
Nurturing is what I like to do and I guess you can see that from the Animal and Sewing hubs and the home making and gardening that I do. Writing has just become a passion for me and I have started a book about my life. The name of it is "Whispers From OZ" and you can read all that I have and will have HERE
I think helping others is the best part of life. I know what I am here for and that is to be a teacher -not the kind in a classroom, but someone who goes through some tough things and then in the end helps those who are going through the same or similar events.
Doing searches for information on the internet for these things has got me the name of "Cybrarian" by my friends and family. Usually they ask me to because they don't come up with the right stuff or don't have the time to. I have plenty of experience searching on the internet since doing my family genealogy on my father's side.
