How To Make A Few Extra Dollars With Adsense!

I am still a newbie to the world of internet marketing and I decided to give it a go after first purchasing a book about internet marketing and how to get started.

I am sure that most of my fellow hubber's here at hub pages have purchased many a book about internet marketing in the past and some may even be making a few extra dollars or more. But I am still struggling to try and make a few dollars from my efforts as a netrepreneur. I am baffled by the fact that what is described as being the easiest way to make money on the internet is out of some people's reach.

The book I bought and read, seemed to convey the message that anyone can sign up for a free blog at one of the many blog hosts, set up a Google Adsense account and then earn easy money from revenue derived there of. It is actually the reason why I bought the book in the first place, they made the whole process seem so, so easy!

Anyway, I set up my first blog over at blogspot, it's called 'Make A Few Extra Dollars' and I write several articles a week about how people can make a few extra dollars on the internet. I am a pretty good writer, too. Yeah! Yeah! you might be thinking 'Not another MMO blog!' and yes it is another MMO blog andsome of the topics covered are not new or original idea's, BUT, the way in which they are written, by me is UNIQUE. I have never copied an article, simply just the idea.

So, getting back to my Adsense dilemma, I set up my blog, wrote some decent articles, then signed up for adsense with the expectation of being approved, thus creating the ability to make a few extra dollars for my efforts. NOT THE CASE!!! I got a reply from google within an hour of applying and the message was this, 'Hello. Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into Google AdSense at this time. We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below. =Page type='

Bummer huh! I was extremely disappointed with the findings and set off on a mission to tweak my website in order for it to be approved. Then, I reapplied and again was rejected, for the same reason, again and I am now in a position to just forget about adsense and find another alternative. Working on that NOW!

So it is not at all as simple as everyone thinks to set up a google adsense account and make a few extra dollars on the internet. I have started writing here at hub pages and these pages are loaded with adsense ads, but the sad part about it is "I am unable to get my adsense account approved by google and will not be able to earn any money from the revenue incurred".

Again, Double Bummer!! Look on the bright side though. I am a good writer, I write 100% unique content for all of my sites, and I actually ENJOY doing it!! In the meantime, my goal is to just keep writing good quality unique articles about all the things that I am interested in, and I can find other ways to make a few extra dollars on the internet without adsense.

Note: I have recently applied for adsense for my hub pages (3 days ago). I am still yet to recieve a reply from google, so my status is permanently displaying 'Approval Pending'. It may just be that they have decided to ignore my application this time around 'OR' they may finally give me a go.

Since writing the above article, I have finally been accepted by google and can now make a few extra dollars for my efforts.
