When creating a new hub, it asks for the url.. but when adding a url so it can redirect to that content to where it is actually posted it won't allow it because of the backslashes or htm ect...

so for example.. if its

dangers to exess fat and the page is located at ediet/dangers.htm it won't let me add that...

How does this work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The URL section is where you will type in what you want the last part of the url to read.

Example:  I'm writing a hub about dominatrix tips, so by default the system tries to create the url as:

hubpages.com/hub/dominatrix-tips

See what it did?  You're not creating a webpage in the sense you may be used to.
