That video is so typical of the perception of many voters...take one word and make it whatever you want to fit your and/or your party's agenda to win.

I can break it down a bit for you if you can't get past the word psychology:D

Most of what goes on in the world is a manifestation of the mass mind, which psychology is part of. Until all humanity gets a grip on their subsconsious mind, clears and heals, gets out of the cynical and sarcastic ruts that repitition of thoughts has miscreated, and becomes positive and not negative, AND takes action to move forward with big change, the unpleasant and sometimes deadly will continue to occur.

Where's the LOVE? sounds easy, but I know it is not

That is so good.

Of course this is McCain and Gramm's approach, our economy isn't really all that bad, it's all just psychological!
