About Think.com

Think.com is a website that is designed by Oracle Education Foundation for mainly educational purpose. This website connects teachers and students around the world to share experiences and to collaborate in many different projects. It is a global school community for learning.

A Global Learning Community

There are nearly 300,000 students and teachers from 73 countries around the world which join Think.com. Students from different countries meet online and build knowledge from different places, cultures and perspectives. They use 21st century technology to interact and communicate their own ideas clearly and sensibly to their global peers with many different backgrounds.

Think.com is Safe and Free!

What really amazing is that Think.com is a very safe website for students. The webpages in Think.com published by the students can only be seen by registered users, which are students and teachers from schools which have registered themselves to Think.com. They are not accessible for public.

And one more thing, the school does not need to pay any cost to register because Think.com is for free! However, Think.com requires the interested school to submit online application which is to be reviewed to verify that their school is accredited.

How to Register

You need to register as one school organization, not as individuals. Think.com allows you to register your school only if you are a school employee, your school is fully accredited, your school is public or private, your school is primary or secondary, and your school is not-for-profit.

Think.com does not allow you to register your school if you are a student, your school is a home school, your school is a hospital school, your school is for-profit*, and if your school is a college or university.

* For-profit schools are educational institutions that are run by private, profit-seeking companies or organizations.

Protected for Free!

Think.com is protected with password, monitored by teachers, includes no advertising, and is free of spam and viruses. The Oracle Education Foundation has teamed with Symantec Corporation to offer K-12 schools a safe environment at no cost. The Symantec gift will include a 3-year license for Symantec Mail Security 5.0 and Symantec Mail Security 8160 Appliance subscription service.

Try Think.com

Think.com provides the facility to explore their website service before you enroll your school. When filling the Try account form, you need to provide your official school email address and a note describing your role in education. (The Try system is not for students.)

You also need a keycode to create a Try account. Make sure that you fill in the form correctly. The keycode is not for login. It is used only for register yourself to open a trial account. After you have got the keycode, you need to fill in the Trial account form and don't forget to type down the keycode you get.
